Ariel Navarro
Master’s Degree in Economic Geology, Mining Exploration - Universidad Católica del Norte, Chile
Licensed Geologist from Universidad de Concepción, Chile
Ariel Navarro is a Chilean exploration geologist with 12+ years of experience in greenfield discovery and brownfield resource expansion across porphyry Cu–Au, epithermal Au–Ag and IOCG systems. He has served as Project Geologist at Fresnillo Chile SpA and Los Balcones Mining Legal Society, and currently acts as an independent consultant on advanced exploration projects in Chile.
In the first quarter of 2026, he supervised 14,000 meters of core logging for the Hochschild Volcan Gold Project located in the Maricunga Gold Belt. In October 2026, Hochschild called him back to manage Volcan’s core logging with a focus on metallurgy.
He has supervised and executed more than 40,000 meters of RC and diamond drilling, led geological mapping campaigns exceeding 5,000 hectares, and managed integrated geochemical and geophysical programs (magnetometry, CSAMT, aeromagnetics). His expertise includes structural and alteration logging, geological database management, and implementation of industry-standard QA/QC protocols aligned with JORC/NI 43-101 best practices.
He has completed advanced professional training in predictive targeting, exploration economics, machine learning applications in mineral exploration, lithogeochemical modeling (IoGAS), advanced argillic and porphyry alteration systems, supergene processes, lithium brine systems, GIS and satellite spatial analysis, advanced Vulcan modeling, and SQL database management.
Proficient in Leapfrog, IoGAS, ArcGIS, QGIS, and Python-based workflows, he specializes in integrating multidisciplinary datasets to generate drill-ready targets and optimize exploration capital deployment.

Fred Clement

Fred Clement is a mining entrepreneur with more than 30 years of international experience. He develops mining companies from acquisition through exploration, mine development and production.
He is a co-founder of Kilroy Metal Inc., a VMS copper exploration and development company in Arizona, USA, with a planned listing on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV).
His career includes Rio Tinto’s Simandou project and, as CEO of VHL Mining Group, leading a Madagascar operation into production. As MariGoldX’s Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor, he is advancing gold and copper opportunities in Chile.
